1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Rezrv is a service for finding and booking appointments at barbers, salons, spas and studios in Egypt. It is run by Rezrv, Cairo, Egypt. In this policy “Rezrv”, “we” and “us” mean that company.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. It covers our website (rezrvapp.com), the Rezrv app, and Rezrv Business, the tools that venues use.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use Rezrv.
2. The information we collect
We collect only what we need to run Rezrv. It comes from four places.
What you give us
- Your account: your name and your contact details, such as your mobile number and email address.
- Your bookings: the venue, the service, the professional, the date and time, and any note you add.
- Your choices: the places you save and the language you use.
- Messages you send us: when you write to us from the website’s contact form, your name, your email address, the topic and your message. From the “List your business” form, your name, your business name, your email address, and the Instagram or website link if you add one.
- Ratings and reviews, if you leave one.
What we get when you pay
If you pay in the app, the payment is handled by our licensed payment partner. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only what we need to record the payment: the amount, the time, whether it went through, and a reference number.
What is collected automatically
- Your device: its type, operating system, app version, language and IP address, and a report if the app crashes.
- Your location, only if you allow it, so we can show you places nearby. You can turn this off in your phone’s settings at any time.
- A notification token, only if you allow notifications, so we can send you confirmations and reminders.
What venues tell us
A venue may tell us that a booking was changed or cancelled, or that you did not arrive.
3. How we use it, and why we are allowed to
We use your information to run your bookings, to keep Rezrv safe, and to make it better. We do not sell it.

If we want to use your information for a new purpose, we will tell you first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
4. Who we share it with
We share your information only with those who need it to make your booking work.
- The venue you book with. It receives your name, your mobile number and the details of your booking, so it can prepare for your visit and reach you about it. Each venue is responsible for how it handles what it receives.
- Our payment partner, which handles payments made in the app.
- Companies that work for us, such as those that host our systems, send our messages and help us with support. They may use your information only as we instruct.
- The authorities, when Egyptian law requires us to.
- A new owner, if Rezrv is ever sold or merged. We will tell you before your information is passed on.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
5. Where it is kept, for how long, and how it is protected
Where. Your information is kept on secure servers. If any of it is kept or sent outside Egypt, we do that only as Egyptian law allows.
How long. We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your information or make it anonymous, and keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records. Messages sent to us from the website are kept only for as long as we need them to reply to you and to keep a record of what was agreed.
How it is protected. Information is encrypted when it travels between your phone and our systems. Only staff who need it for their work can see it. No system is perfectly safe, so if a breach puts your information at risk, we will tell the regulator and tell you, as the law requires.
6. Your rights
Your information is yours. Under Egyptian law you can:
- Know what we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your account and the information in it.
- Limit or object to a use of your information.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, for example for location, notifications or news and offers.
- Complain to Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Centre if you think we have handled your information wrongly.
To use any of these rights, email sales@rezrvapp.com from the address on your account, or use the settings in the app. We will answer within the time the law sets.
We may ask you to prove who you are before we act, so that nobody else can get your information.
7. Children, cookies, changes and contact
Children. Rezrv is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Cookies. Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It keeps only what it needs to work, such as a small setting in your browser for a choice you made on the site. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy. When we change this policy we post the new version here and change the date at the top. If a change is important, we will also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
